Alberto Morillas is a true living legend of perfumery, often considered the most prolific and awarded nose of our era. Born in Seville in 1950, he draws much of his inspiration from his Andalusian scent memories, deeply marked by sunlight, fresh water, orange blossom and jasmine. Rare in this industry, he is almost entirely self-taught: after reading an article about Jean-Paul Guerlain, he joined the Swiss composition house Firmenich in 1970, where he would build his entire immense career until earning the prestigious title of Master Perfumer. Known for his fluid, luminous writing, he is world-famous for his exceptional mastery of musks and innovative synthetic molecules (such as Hedione), which he marries with absolute elegance to the noblest natural raw materials.

His olfactory legacy is colossal, encompassing timeless icons that redefined the global market, such as Acqua di Giò by Giorgio Armani, the revolutionary CK One by Calvin Klein, and FlowerbyKenzo. While he is the undisputed king of designer blockbusters, Alberto Morillas enjoys an equally respected status in haute niche perfumery. He regularly signs sophisticated compositions for refined houses like By Kilian, Penhaligon's and Amouage, and in 1999 founded his own luxury brand, Mizensir. Initially dedicated to artisanal candles, his house today offers exceptional eaux de parfum, giving him total creative freedom to express his vision of an intimate, refined luxury.
