Althaïr is Parfums de Marly's 2023 tribute to Bourbon vanilla, composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani. Rather than a simple dessert, it treats vanilla as a noble material, lifted by orange blossom and warm spices.
Cinnamon and cardamom bring heat, praline adds a caramelised richness, and guaiac wood with amber keeps the vanilla dry and elegant rather than heavy. Long-lasting with a confident trail, it is ideal for cool evenings and formal occasions.
