Habit Rouge has been a pillar of Guerlain since 1965, one of the first great oriental fragrances for men. This Parfum version, composed by Delphine Jelk, gives the riding-jacket classic a richer, more concentrated intensity.
Bergamot and lime bring the signature Guerlain citrus sparkle, nutmeg and leather add warmth, and vanilla with amber and styrax leave a deep, smooth trail. Long-lasting and assured, it suits autumn and winter, from formal days to evenings out.

Delphine Jelk is one of the rare women to hold the title of perfumer at Guerlain, where she creates alongside master perfumer Thierry Wasser. Born in Fribourg, Switzerland, in 1977, she first studied fashion design at ESMOD in Paris, where her graduate collection paired each outfit with a fragrance, an early sign of a singular path. She discovered olfaction on Firmenich's evaluation team, trained at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, then cut her teeth as a perfumer at Drom before joining Guerlain.
At Guerlain she has signed several of the house's modern successes, from the worldwide icon La Petite Robe Noire to creations for the Aqua Allegoria collection and the haute parfumerie line L'Art & La Matière, including Santal Pao Rosa. Decorated with the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2021, she brings a couturier's eye to composition, dressing the skin in scent the way a designer drapes fabric.
