Alexandria II Anniversary by Xerjoff, from the Oud Stars collection, is a woody oriental fragrance for men and women created by perfumer Chris Maurice to mark the anniversary of the original Alexandria and Alexandria II. It opens on lavender, Bulgarian rose, cumin and cardamom, before unfolding into a dense heart of oud, civet, amber, orris, cypriol, mint and clary sage.
The base settles into Australian sandalwood, vanilla and musk, giving the fragrance a smooth, resinous trail. Rich and commanding, it favours cooler months and evening wear, where its depth has room to unfold.

Chris Maurice, born Christian Carbonnel, is a Spanish master perfumer and the third generation of a Barcelona perfumery family whose roots go back to 1925. He is the defining nose of Xerjoff.
He created Naxos, Alexandria II and Lira among many signatures for the Italian luxury house.
